A dedicated policy provides protection for defamation and IP risks tied to your work.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr style=\"color: #efefef; margin: 3rem\" \/>\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>\u201cMy business is too small \u2014 only large companies are at risk.\u201d<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Any individual with a public profile who creates or shares content can face exposure to defamation, IP infringement, or breach of confidentiality claims. Lawsuits aren\u2019t limited to large corporations \u2014 freelancers and independent creators face these risks every day.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr style=\"color: #efefef; margin: 3rem\" \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>\u201cI create original content \u2014 I can\u2019t infringe on anyone\u2019s IP.\u201d<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Even original projects often incorporate third-party IP such as music, images, or licensed materials. Errors in licensing, permissions, or fees can still lead to infringement claims. And even fully original work can be challenged, requiring experienced claims support to defend your position.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr style=\"color: #efefef; margin: 3rem\" \/>\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>\u201cI have long-standing client relationships \u2014 they wouldn\u2019t sue me.\u201d<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Strong relationships don\u2019t eliminate legal risk. Clients may still pursue action \u2014 especially if they are sued themselves over content you produced. Protection is critical for both breach of contract disputes and content-related liability claims.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr style=\"color: #efefef; margin: 3rem\" \/>\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>\u201cI\u2019d never breach an NDA or confidentiality agreement.\u201d<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Inadvertent disclosures happen \u2014 a verbal slip, leaked information, or accidental exposure of sources can all trigger claims.
