Affinity Group
Underwriters is a specialist in the creation and administration of insurance programs
for membership groups and associations. The principals and staff of AGU have a combined
total of nearly 100 years of extensive and diverse experience in the insurance business, in
general, and the affinity group business in particular. Affinity groups are not a sideline
with us - they are our core market. We are truly a "niche" company, clearly
focused on identifying and responding to the special needs of each affinity group and its
members.
We develop and manage
effective insurance programs for local, regional and national sponsoring organizations
including:
Associations -
member benefit plans for professional, alumni and special-interest organizations;
Financial Institutions
- supplemental insurance coverage for customers; and
Employers -
voluntary purchase, worksite payroll-deduction insurance programs on a voluntary basis for
employees.
Geographically, we serve
customers from our offices in Richmond, Virginia and Toronto, Canada.
