Plan Choices for CUBS PEO Members
The CUBS Health Resources Plan is a lower-cost alternative to comprehensive major medical insurance for CUBS' PEO clients. The plan is designed to help people who pay the costs of their own health care by offering the security of an insurance plan and including access to discounts from medical providers to help lower total out-of-pocket expenses. The insurance plan allows participants to use the doctors and hospitals of their choice; the discount program offers discounts on medical services through contracted providers. The discount card also offers discounts on services which are not covered under the insurance plan such as dental, if not elected under the insurance plan, and vision and hearing. Participation in the plan is available to all PEO clients of Credit Union Business Services (CUBS).
 
FACT: 68% of the population have annual medical expenditures under $1,000 and 80% incur less than $2,000. Just being able to afford to go to the doctor when symptoms first occur can prevent many serious conditions from developing.

It is a lower-cost alternative providing fixed amount, limited benefits directly to insureds for the most-used types of medical services. The plan pays in addition to any other medical insurance the member may have. Please note, also, that the CUBS Health Resources Plan is not Medicare Supplement insurance.
AFFORDABLE
You already know that comprehensive health insurance is very expensive. The CUBS Health Resources Plan offers a less expensive, basic benefits solution for CUBS PEO members.
 
ACCESSIBLE
Most group health plans limit eligibility to specific
classes of employees. The CUBS Health Resources Plan is designed to bridge the gap by making benefits available to all of CUBS' PEO clients.The CUBS Health Resources Plan is guaranteed issue for all eligible employees--there are no medical questions or physical exams to qualify. 
 
FLEXIBLE
Two plans (Advantage and Advantage Plus) are available and an optional Dental plan. CUBS' PEO clients can can purchase the Dental Option by itself or in addition to the Advantage or Advantage Plus plan.
 
 
FACT: The national average annual premium for traditional health coverage is $4,024 for a single person and $10,880 for a family. In comparison, the annual premium for an employee under age 30 under the Advantage Plan is $528 single and $1632 family when the employer contributes to the plan.
